Deduplication
Zoho CRM has native deduplication features:
- Duplicate Check on Conversion: When converting a Lead, if a Contact with the same email already exists, the system prompts to merge or create new.
- Duplicate Detection on Import: Specify matching field(s) during import; choose to skip or merge duplicates.
- Recycle Bin: Deleted records retained for up to 60 days before permanent deletion; can be restored.
- Zoho DataPrep: Cluster-and-merge deduplication for bulk data cleansing prior to import (Zoho DataPrep for CRM).
- Marketplace extensions: Data Management Suite for Zoho CRM provides automated deduplication, mass updates, and data cleansing workflows (Zoho Marketplace: Data Management Suite).
Data Enrichment
- Zia Data Enrichment: Automatically populates missing fields using AI analysis of available contact/account data—improves customer segmentation and cross-sell/upsell targeting.
- Zoho DataPrep Enrichment: Apply 250+ transformations (normalize phone/country formats, standardize fields) and map enriched data to CRM fields before import.
- Third-party enrichment extensions: Tools like LinkedIn integration (LinkZoho—July 2025 Marketplace), Zerobounce email validation (January 2026), and French business data enrichment via SIREN numbers (January 2026) extend enrichment capabilities (Zoho Marketplace January 2026).
