UI: Zoho CRM for Everyone (Next-Gen UI)

Zoho CRM for Everyone (also known as the Next-Gen UI) is a redesigned interface launched in 2024 and made the default experience for all users in a phased rollout through Q1 2026 (Zoho CRM for Everyone UI rollout).

Users can still switch back to the old UI from their profile panel during transition (Zoho CRM for Everyone UI rollout).

Teamspaces

Teamspaces are curated workspaces within the CRM for specific departments (Sales, Support, Marketing, Legal, Finance, etc.). They replace the older "tab group" concept with significantly more capability (Zenatta CRM for Everyone analysis):

  • Organize modules into collapsible folders and sub-folders.
  • Assign visibility by profile or role (not per individual user).
  • Nested module folders for cleaner navigation.
  • Teamspace Admin: Each Teamspace can have its own administrator who manages that team's specific processes without full CRM admin access.

Settings Reorganization

Settings are regrouped into intuitive categories (Zenatta CRM for Everyone analysis):

  • General – Personal preferences, company info, business hours
  • Users & Security – Users, roles, profiles, SSO, territory management
  • Customization – Modules, pipelines, wizards, canvas views
  • Automation – Workflows, blueprints, signals, process management
  • Data Admin – Import/export, recycle bin, backups
  • Developer Hub & Zia AI – APIs, scripts, prompts, CPQ

Workqueue (New in Q1 2026)

Workqueue is a centralized daily task view introduced in Q1 2026. It consolidates all records requiring a sales rep's attention—tasks, activities, calls, appointments, and assigned records—into a single dashboard, allowing reps to prioritize and plan without navigating module by module (Zoho CRM Q1 2026 update).

Calendar (2025 Enhancement)

The CRM calendar received a major redesign in 2025 focused on collaborative schedule management (Zoho CRM 2025 highlights).

Notes Enhancements (Q1 2026)

Users can now access notes directly from the list view via a notes icon, without opening the detail page. Notes can be viewed, edited, deleted, added, or summarized from this view (Zoho CRM Q1 2026 update). The Q2 2026 roadmap indicates rich-text formatting for notes is planned (Zoho Vertical Studio 2026 roadmap).

Interaction View / Timeline

The record Timeline was enhanced in 2025 with an Interaction View that displays the customer's journey across all touchpoints and channels in a scrollable, unified view. As of the Q2 2026 roadmap, the timeline will support threaded email conversations with delivery status and interaction context, and profile-based permissions for timeline visibility (Zoho CRM 2025 highlights; Zoho Vertical Studio 2026 roadmap).
