14.1 Extensions Developer Console
The Extensions Developer Console (accessible at developer.zoho.com) is the portal where developers build, publish, and manage extensions (applications packaged for distribution). Extensions can be:
- Published to Zoho Marketplace: Made available publicly to any Zoho Creator customer worldwide.
- Privately distributed: Shared with specific accounts or organizations without public listing.
Extensions are packaged as .ds files and can include forms, reports, pages, workflows, and embedded configurations. The developer console enables versioning of extensions, update management, and analytics on extension adoption.
14.2 Operations Module in Developer Console (February 2026)
The Developer Console now includes an Operations module with three sections (February 2026 Release Notes):
- Zia (GenAI): Default Zoho GenAI integration available at no additional cost; developers can also configure external AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) using a BYOK approach.
- Support Access: Manage Zoho support team access to the Creator account for troubleshooting.
- System Integrations: Configure system-level integrations managed centrally.
