The Sales & CRM cluster is the gravitational centre of most Zoho deployments. Zoho CRM is the flagship — a modular, scriptable, fully customisable customer database with an automation engine, a process engine, an AI engine, and a portal engine layered on top. The cluster also contains Bigin (the entry-level pipeline tool for early-stage teams), SalesIQ (the live-chat and visitor-tracking surface), Bookings (appointment scheduling), and RouteIQ (route optimisation for outside sales).

The consultant's central question in this cluster is CRM versus Bigin: when does the customer outgrow the simpler tool? The answer is rarely about user count and almost always about process complexity — when the customer needs blueprint-driven sales processes, multiple Teamspaces, custom modules, or true cross-team workflows, they have outgrown Bigin. SalesIQ should be sold as a pair with CRM via the native two-way sync.
